How to make snow in San Diego!

It’s been really cold at night the last few days (though I have for the most part been fine despite camping out).

This morning I inadvertently discovered how to make snow!

That’s right. Snow! In San Diego!

Take a black garbage bag (so you can see the “snow”) and leave it out overnight when it is cold. Then in the morning, take the bag, and squash it in your hands. Finally stretch the bag out again and shake it. The “snow” will fall out such that it will be like it’s snowing lightly under the bag!

The reason you leave the bag out (near the ground) is that you want dew to form on it. A black bag makes it easier to see the snow forming. The squashing breaks up the frozen dew so that when you shake the bag it falls off.

This would be a great activity to do with kids I think.

Enjoy.

      Hi Jason,

Goodness…at first I didn’t know who you were. I mean I just saw you a little bit ago on that street corner and…well…here you are as soon as I sit down at my computer LOL.

Thanks again for taking the time to talk to me Jason. That was very encouraging. It is so very difficult to find Christians who are living all out for God in our modern culture. Your being on street corners with signs for Jesus greatly encouraged my heart bro!

I’ll send you more information about my web development business later today bro. Thanks for asking.

      Carlos
